Arthur Shapiro, 92, of Duluth died Friday, Sept. 24, 1999, in Lakeshore Lutheran Home.

Arthur was a Duluth Central graduate and had worked as a machinist for Zenith Machine Co. He was a lifelong member of Adas Israel Congregation and the Jewish Fellowship Club.

Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie; brothers Louis, Berton and Edward; and a sister.

Survivors include a nephew, Les Shapiro of Silver Springs, Md.; and a niece, Sharon Silberberg of the Twin Cities.

Graveside service: 2 p.m. today in Adas Israel Cemetery. Arrangements by Bell Brothers Funeral Directors, Jarvi-Dowd Chapel.
